Web Designer - Position Available

Karma Snack is a Miami based Internet Marketing firm. We provide a wide range of services for our clients which include web design, development, SEO/SEM and social media services.

We are looking for an experienced in-house web designer. Applicant must be able to create websites based on guidance, specs, and design requirements provided by clients.

Applicant must be local and work within our office in Miami Beach.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in technology, software and social media.
• Strong interactive/web design portfolio.
• Strong understanding of web/interactive design including usability, compatibility, advantages and limitations.
• Excellent (X)HTML, CSS
• Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills CS3-CS4
• Strong understanding in PHP, MYSQL, Perl & CGI
• Familiar with ASP
• Familiar with Wordpress
• Have strong color theory and typography skills.
• Well-organized; time management skills a must.
• Intermediate Flash, jQuery, Ajax, & Javascript skills a plus.
• Hand Coding HTML and website a huge plus.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines.
• 2-5 years experience in web design and interactive work experience.
• Communicate effectively with your creative partners as well as those in merchandising, marketing and technology.
• Work within a busy design calendar and deliver assets on a timely basis.
• College degree or comparable experience.
